Computer Vision Syndrome among Children Using Online E-Learning during the COVID-19 Pandemic

Background: Since the declaration of lockdown due to COVID-19, usage digital devices has gone up across globe, resulting in a challenge for visual systems all ages. The aim this study was determine frequency, symptoms frequency and associated risk factors Computer Vision Syndrome (CVS) among children attending online classes during COVID-19 pandemic.
 Materials methods: electronic survey form prepared on Google app. Children/parents were asked indicate total duration device use before COVID era. CVS, its severity recorded measured with Questionnaire.
 Results: One hundred sixty four parents responded questionnaire, these 124 complete. Mean age 14±3.01 years. used era 34.11±2.08 hours which more than pre (0.98±0.24 hours). 36.29% >5 as compared 0% most common smartphones (62.1%). Sixty seven (54.03%) >2 per day. 50% had CVS. Of 25% mild, 12.9% moderate 12.1% severe grade. Most itching headache. Multivariate analysis revealed >14 years, male gender, smartphone use, mobile games >1 h/day independent CVS children.
 Conclusion: There is an increased prevalence Awareness about prevention should be stressed going forward, measures bring adverse effects minimum explored.
